of all time, Mitch
Mitchell, of the Jimi Hendrix Experience. It was a dream
of mine to jam with him some day, and to hear him play live. Sadly, I
won't get to do this, but the countless live Hendrix concerts will provide
me with endless joy of his playing 010/03/2008 - Lek's Killing Floor Jam up at youtube or myspace 09/09/2008 - The coolest MMA fighter ever to walk the planet died in the desert near

T-shirts and posters available too 9/10/06... another excellent summer backpacking expedition through Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand. The first month was pure travel but the second month had some serious songwriting going on. These songs will be out on a brand new CD and hopefully on vinyl sometime mid-2007. The Killing Fields in Cambodia were saddening, Vietnam and some gut-wrenching food poisoning after eating a tainted coconut. The war museum was interesting. More jamming with the same band from a couple years ago in Chumphon, Thailand - a country style music called 'Luk Thung' 4/15/06... hello all :) Thanks to all who participated in the Lek CD Pilot Program. As promised, a free cd will be given to those who participated. 8/05/05... just close your fantasmoplamorphic mind and envision my all encompassing orphic imagery pumping and shooting at 192 kilohertz fresh from the bottom of my void. This planet is cheesewhiz. Close your mind and envision three dimensional graphic wawa wave forms, waxing and waning volatile mixtures of ambient nothingness pervading our all consuming senses. 01/01/05... New songs being recorded 09/05/04 ... Back from the motherland, Thailand, after 2 months of a renewed love affair. Jammed with a couple Thai bands onstage and made some inroads into the quirky Thai music scene... the results of which remain to be seen. Bangkok was great, as well as backpacking through southern and northern Thailand. 04/04 to 06/04...
New songs 'Dance Round the Sun', 'Road Angels', 'The Endless Hole',
as well as a couple of instrumentals 04/14/04... Backpacking in Mexico breaks up the monotony of life. A mystical wonderful time. Jamming with Mexican musicians in Puerto Escondido, home of the Mexican Pipeline. Mexico City was a trip, the beautiful colonial town of Oaxaca, and on to surfing at the beach. The smell of authentic tortillas cooking on the street imprinted in my mind. Very helpful, hospitable people. Conquered the peligroso Mexico City walking bleary eyed at 2am on the empty deserted streets carrying a 2 inch sharp pencil to stop those who dared confront me. 11/03 to 03/04... New songs being written as always. 'Western Wall', 'Land of Smiles', 'Peru', 'Illusory JoeB', 'Snake in the Eye', 'Welcome to Paradise', 'Post Travellin Blues', 'Esquesa' 11/01/03... LEK works with Julliard mentor Edgar Grana. Edgar has taught several world class award winning musicians, and has written or produced platinum albums and ballets. All old songs are put aside, a new vision begins. 08/05/03... A summer backpacking trip to Peru, Argentina, and Brazil.. Peru was excellent - a snazzy time in Miraflores, on to Arequipa and Cuzco, Maccu Piccu and altitude sickness. Boliva thrown out the window for Buenos Aires in Argentina - a kickass city, some nice friends. Brazil was Curitiba and a crazy guy named Diogo, and staying at a surf house in Florianopolis in the south with some great Brazilian friends. Incidentally, I still like Niagra Falls better than Iguazu! 04/03... Lek performances are temporarily stopped after group differences (gee, wow, in a rock band?) 01/03 to 04/03... Lek gigs around New York and New Jersey
